Concrete Crushing for the Agricultural Sector
We recently undertook a concrete crushing job for a client in Shropshire. This client was based in the agricultural sector which we’ve had plenty of experience in. JTC Concrete Crushing often have agricultural clients since they use a huge amount of aggregate and simliar – they often have old barns or concrete that needs getting rid of and crushing on site is the most cost effective method of doing this for them, especially if they are re-using it.
In this particular instance, there was approximately 150 tonnes of concrete dug up from a silage clamp repair on a large dairy farm which had to be reduced to crushed concrete. We managed to turn this job round very quickly with the customer calling on a Friday. We crushed the material on a Bank Holiday Monday and the material was used in the base of a new yard and concreted over the following morning.
